Facility: Charlotte Bay Rehab and Care Center
Pay Range: $27- $32 per hour, Depending on Experience
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Human Resources Director to join our team at Charlotte Bay Rehabilitation and Care Center as an Human Resources Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recommend staffing levels to the Administrator.
- Review and process requests for new personnel.
- Evaluate employee performances and make recommendations.
- Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with employment regulations.
- Interpret policies and procedures to personnel.
- Assist in standardizing work methods.
- Orient new personnel and maintain communication with department directors.
- Make reports and recommendations to the Administrator.
- Maintain bulletin boards and assist in daily staffing information.
- Assist in recruitment, selection, and training.
- Process personnel information and monitor claims.
- Counsel and discipline personnel as necessary.
- Manage attendance records and leaves of absence.
- Conduct investigations and exit interviews.
- Monitor unemployment claims and maintain employee relations.
- Serve as a liaison with union delegates/employees and management.
- Ensure regular training and in-services.
- Attend workshops and seminars to stay updated.
- Maintain training records for staff personnel.
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience in HR (preferably in a skilled nursing or healthcare facility)
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
