Job Description:
The HRIS Analyst II partners closely with HR functional leads, business leaders, and IT professionals to ensure the optimal Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system user experience. The HRIS Analyst builds project plans, ensures adherence to project schedules, maintains systems orientation, and can work effectively with peers to set technology priorities and lead on long-term planning.
Using critical thinking and a growth mindset, the analyst will research, analyze, trouble shoot, resolve, test, and configure business process and system enhancements as a technical point-of-contact for the assigned functional area as the subject matter expert. Your time will be focused on data integrity, system changes or upgrades, patches, report writing, securities, data analyzing, and process improvement opportunities among other responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Manages projects and process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality.
- Takes action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequences. Uses these data to build project plans and ensure adherence to schedule and other specifications.
- Utilizes interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals.
- Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
- Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches. Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintains HRIS system tables. Documents process and results.
- Provides production support, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
- Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Trains internal customers on new processes/functionality. Assists in training new system administration users.
- Maintains awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Examines trends in information systems training, materials and techniques. Through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increases both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge.
- Participates in user group meetings/conferences.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a Workday HR Systems Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Learning, Recruiting, etc.).
- Proficiency in Workday Securities and Report Writing.
- Uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or develops appropriate solutions to issues that arise.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field encouraged but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Moderate or advanced keyboard usage
- Lift 10 lbs.
- Travel less than 10% of the time.

Benefits are subject to change at the Company's discretion.
Base Pay Range: Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $80,000 - $110,000 However, the actual pay range depends on each candidate's experience, location, and qualifications.
Variable Pay: Discretionary annual bonus, based on personal and company performance.
