Position Overview:
As the HRIS Analyst at James M Pleasants Company, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This position serves as the primary project manager for HRIS enhancements, ensuring the efficient and effective utilization of our HR technology. The role involves maintaining HR-related master data, troubleshooting technical issues, providing HRIS training, overseeing data collection and reporting, and managing HRIS permissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- HRIS Project Management:
- Lead and manage HRIS enhancement projects from conception to implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to recommend and implement best practices.
- Master Data Management:
- Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of HR-related master data.
- Regularly update and maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Implement data quality control measures to uphold data accuracy standards.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Address and resolve technical issues related to HRIS promptly.
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to ensure the optimal functioning of HRIS systems.
- Provide end-user support and troubleshoot user-related HRIS concerns.
- Training:
- Develop and conduct training programs for HRIS users to enhance system proficiency.
- Create user guides and documentation to facilitate self-service.
- Data Collection and Reporting:
- Design and generate regular and ad-hoc HRIS reports for management.
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness for reporting purposes.
- Reconcile discrepancies within payroll tax reporting.
- Permissions Management:
- Administer and manage user permissions within the HRIS to uphold data security.
- Regularly audit and update access permissions based on organizational needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience in HRIS administration, project management, and data management is preferred.
- Familiarity or willingness to learn ADP is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
