This position will travel the state of NC. Candidates need to sit in Charlotte, NC or the surrounding area. Will travel 3 weeks at a time.
The preferred candidate will have strong knowledge of various CCTV systems, and structured cabling methods and standards. The candidate needs to have a working knowledge of cameras. DVR/NVR configurations is a big plus.

Travel will be required, 1 to 4 weeks at a time. Technicians will be fitted with a company vehicle after training which will come within the first couple of weeks. Since travel is required candidates must meet company standards in relation to background and driving record.
Primary Customers are Walmart Stores —candidates MUST be able to adapt to different layouts and environments, ALL will be different. Techs will be doing the cabling and system installations and troubleshooting as needed. Most installation work will be performed overnight Sunday through Thursday.
Responsibilities
Install and configure CCTV systems.
Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings, which can include drilling concrete walls and limited conduit work
Complete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations ensuring that CCTV systems are complete and satisfy customer and contractual requirements
Assist and interface with the Installation Team Lead or Project Manager regarding on-site scheduling of work activities and timely delivery of equipment
Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed systems and component devices are operational
Troubleshoot new system installations to ensure the proper functioning and to ensure the system meets local, county, state or federal codes; legal and/or insurance requirements
Any other duties not listed as required for job and assigned by the manager

Must work well with others. Technicians must be able to follow directions, work independently with no supervision still be able to complete task in a timely manner.
