JOB GOAL
Responsible for compiling reports that district leadership can use to enhance their decision making for future initiatives and ensuring the human resources (HR) department maintains high-quality data in all internal systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyzes and audits data pertaining to the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Childcare Criminal Background Check process and to district wide compliance training from the Vector system.
- Provides timely feedback to internal stakeholders and HR management pertaining to data issues.
- Responds to public record and data requests.
- Collaborates within department to provide hire, promotion, and separation data to the board of education (BOE).
- Issues contracts to licensed staff upon BOE approval of hire or promotion.
- Analyzes and compiles exit data for various stakeholders and committees.
- Identifies, measures, and reports the progress of data quality improvement, including documenting the return on investment associated with improving data quality
- Provides data quality training and consulting services to others in the district.
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Performs audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, and payroll administration.
- Creates standard operating procedures (SOPs) and trains district staff to increase accuracy and productivity.
- Assists with the review and correction of error reporting.
- Keys rehire eligibility, resignation dates, and social security numbers.
- Participates in human resource department projects.
- Performs other related duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills & abilities
- Knowledge of federal and state employment and benefit laws and guidelines
- Knowledge of E-Verify guidelines and requirements
- Ability to measure the cost and benefits of data quality and to detect and correct errors in databases
- Ability to produce data analysis and present findings and recommendations
- Ability to work with minimum supervision in both an independent and team environment
- Knowledge of principles and practices of strategic planning, project management, and process improvement
- Ability to ensure high level of service and provide high quality work products
- Ability to provide training and assistance to other employees
- Excellent customer service skills
- Possess strong mathematical aptitude and the ability to collect and analyze data to make data-driven decisions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with confidential, privileged, and sensitive records, materials, and information
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, orally and in writing, including electronic media
- Advanced knowledge of and experience of computer programs, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
- Excellent time management skills and ability to organize, prioritize, manage and carry out duties efficiently and within established timeframes
- Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with all stakeholders
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in human resources, business, or other related fields
- Three years of experience with the human resources data quality management process
- Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position

- Master's Degree or equivalent in human resources, business, or other related fields
- Crystal reporting experience preferred
- Quality assurance and automated testing experience preferred
