A top client, located in the heart of Chicago, IL, is seeking an HR Manager to join their growing team.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced HR Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of HR best practices. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives
- Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, policies, and procedures
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and address HR challenges and opportunities
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll management, including processing, accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement of employee compensation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred
