Hybrid Temp to Hire HR Manager opportunity with a Nonprofit located in Chicago. Experience successfully managing HR practices, developing comprehensive strategies, and ensuring fair and equitable employee compensation. As the HR Manager, you will be the central point of contact for employees. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of critical functions, ensuring that our organization operates smoothly and adheres to best practices. This role is integral to the organization’s success.
Ensure the organization complies with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Consultant managers and staff on employee relations issues, conducting prompt and thorough workplace investigations.
Support administrative functions of the department, ensuring data integrity in the organization’s HRIS.
The primary point of contact for employees inquiring about benefits, group and medical, vision, and dental health plans to short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, and retirement plans.
Work with third-party advisors to ensure effectiveness in benefit plan administration.
Oversee the performance management program in its entirety – from creation to execution.
Plan and implement professional development and training programs for the organization.
Plan and oversee department projects from initial idea to delivery.
Develop and maintain HR Dashboards, and provide analysis and reports of HR metrics to leadership as requested.
Directly manage two HR team members.
Carries out managerial responsibilities following the company’s policies and applicable laws.
Support recruiting on strategy, position development, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree 7 Years of HR Experience HR Certification is preferred 3 years of experience using Workforce Now preferred
