WHO are we looking for?
The CAPTRUST Human Resources team is seeking an HR Manager to partner with Centers of Excellence to ensure alignment of all HR functions in support of the business including but not limited to employee engagement, employee relations, talent planning, leadership coaching, management development, onboarding and compensation. The HR Manager should have a broad knowledge of all HR functions and will work with senior level business and site leaders to translate business needs into HR initiatives, goals, and priorities. Based on business need, this role is to be performed on-site including frequent travel up to 30%.
- Coach, mentor, and advise leaders and managers on HR strategies, policies and procedures
- Identify, track, and monitor risks and issues with developing solutions for HR deliverables in change management, workforce administration, HR policies, HR processes, and communication
- Drive implementation of HR initiatives, goals, and priorities for designated offices and business units
- Create strategies for reducing employee relations cases and manage cases such as performance management and disputes
- Work with management and employees to understand the pulse of the organization, and address and solve organizational issues to ensure a high-level of employee engagement
- Collaborate with other HR functions to execute on activities such as employee engagement, employee relations, talent planning, leadership coaching, management development, onboarding and compensation
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, compliance and new technologies across human resources and employment law
Minimum Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or similar field
- Proven experience as an HR generalist or similar position
- 3+ years of experience managing employees
- 3+ years of experience in employee relations
Desired Qualifications/Skills:
- Prior experience in Financial Services and/or working with an exempt population
- Master’s in a related field or PHR/SPHR certification preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working in an environment with tight deadlines and significant level of ambiguity
