The HR/IT Business Systems Analyst serves as a bridge between the Human Resources and Information Technology departments, ensuring the seamless integration and optimization of HR systems, processes and data. This role involves analyzing HR operational needs, translating them into technical requirements, collaborating with IT for system enhancements, managing HR system implementations, and providing training and support to end users.
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, and challenges.
- Act as a liaison between HR and IT departments, facilitating communication and alignment on projects and initiatives.
- Conduct detailed analysis of HR systems, data structures, and workflows to identify areas for optimization.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories for IT development teams.
- Assist in the selection, implementation, and configuration of HRIS software and tools.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to visualize HR data and KPIs.
- Perform data validation, cleansing, and migration tasks to ensure data accuracy and integrity within HR systems.
- Provide training and support to HR users on system functionalities and best practices.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in HR and IT to recommend innovative solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by participating in process reviews and optimization projects.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role, with a focus on HR systems and processes.
- Strong understanding of HRIS platforms (e.g., iCIMS, iSOLVED, E-Pay)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Basic understanding of IT concepts and systems architecture.
