The HR Generalist is tasked with providing administrative and clerical support across various human resources functions, encompassing recruitment, onboarding, training, benefits, performance management, compliance, HRIS, and record maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the recruitment process by managing job postings, coordinating interviews, tracking candidate status, and conducting pre-hire background checks.
• Coordinate and oversee temporary employee management, including new hire and termination processes with staffing agencies.
• Aid in the development and updating of job descriptions as needed.
• Support benefits administration, including monitoring employee eligibility, facilitating annual open enrollment, and assisting with benefits-related inquiries.
• Facilitate onboarding activities, administer new hire paperwork, educate employees on compliance and benefits, and provide ongoing support for employee inquiries.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining employee training records and matrices.
• Ensure compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verifications.
• Manage employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, and maintain accurate recordkeeping.
• Maintain employee personnel files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support termination and offboarding processes.
• Contribute to the establishment of departmental metrics aligned with company strategic goals.
• Assist in planning and executing company events, such as benefits open enrollment, meetings, employee recognition, and holiday celebrations.
• Stay updated on employment laws and regulations through participation in professional development opportunities.
• Adhere to EMS and IATF 16949 Policies and Procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years of human resources experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and thorough approach.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of employment laws and practices.
• Ability to manage time-sensitive deadlines and prioritize tasks.
• Proficient in English language, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in computer usage and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree.
• PHR or SHRM-CP Certification (preferred).
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
• Experience with Workday HRIS.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.

Working Hours:

• Monday Friday, 8 am 5 pm
