Hr Generalist

$21-29 per hour
Full-time hours | Mon-Fri
In Office | Cranston, RI

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of payroll, specifically ADP.
• 2 to 3 years’ general or varying HR experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain appropriate information in the systems of record and hardcopy employee files for all sites.
• Run reports as necessary.
• Compensation; make appropriate timely changes in the system of record when appropriate.
• Benefits; communicate to new employees eligibility date and coordinate enrollment with employees and benefit providers.
• Add / Delete employees on benefits portal and assist with open enrollment.
• Bonus / Performance Recognition; support Director of HR with any relevant tactical maintenance of records.
• Maintain PTO records for all employees.
• Post open positions on appropriate websites.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews and follow-up with hiring manage and candidates.
• Coordinate onboarding with new hires.
• Conduct some pre-screen calls as appropriate.
• Enter new hires into the payroll system of record .
• Process payroll for LLCs.
• Provide support and back-up to payroll associate.
• Track and maintain records, administrative support, coordinate events.
