Legrand's Lighting Sector consists of five lighting brands; Pinnacle, Finelite, Focal Point, and OCL which focus on architectural, decorative, and downlighting and Kenall which focuses on lighting for demanding environments. We employ a talented group of employees that love lighting to design and manufacture high performance, energy efficient LED lighting solutions for applications in commercial, educational, healthcare, as well as challenging environments such as tunnels and correctional facilities. This is a temporary position responsible for providing HR services including staffing and onboarding, training records administration, employee relations, policy application and HR events. What Will You Do?
Recruiting:
- Maintain job postings and manage Applicant Tracking System.
- Work with staffing agencies to generate candidate pool.
- Review resumes and forward qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Facilitate interview and selection process with managers and other interviewers.
- Draft and communicate offers.
- Work with HR Team to execute background checks, drug screens and on-boarding.
- Support on-boarding planning and execution.
Training Administration:
- Assist supervisors in setting up and executing training events in Learning with Legrand system.
- Scan and Save Training Sign-In Sheets
- Enter Training Records for Contract Employees in Separate System.
Employee Relations:
- Communicate and apply policies consistently.
- Support initiatives and events to improve employee relations and engagement.
HR Administration:
- Ensure Employee Files are maintained in a timely manner.
- Support HRIS system admin. Handles generation and processing of job and personal changes.
- Support compensation and benefits administration as necessary.
- Manage invoicing of suppliers associated with recruiting: background checks, websites, etc.
Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications:
- 1-3 years HR experience including recruiting, preferably in manufacturing industry.
- Strong people skills and ability to interact with candidates, employees and staffing agencies.
- Experience in recruiting components including, sourcing, interviewing and hiring.
- Highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment.
- Strong computer skills including applicant tracking systems and database management..
- Strong organizational skills.
