Job description

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking to hire an HR Generalist to support the Operations & Engineering Groups at our Lynnwood, WA facility.
The HR Generalist will work alongside more senior HR professionals to provide HR support to organizational leaders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as HR point of contact and first line support for all Human Resources functions within defined client group(s)
  • Manage employee relations issues in a manufacturing setting as assigned to ensure fair and consistent actions by the Company, as well as continuing and evolving leadership development to reinforce that goal
  • Own non-exempt recruiting and coordinate temporary staffing with our third-party service provider; Manage the applicant tracking system and communication between candidate and hiring manager
  • Ensure compliance across the Crane Aerospace & Electronics Group with requirements across internal and external programs, including FAA Drug-Free Workplace, ADA, payroll audits, compliance training, etc
  • Oversee Workers Compensation, Return-to-Work and other like programs, interacting closely and directly with employees, leadership and third party service providers to support employees and mitigate cost
  • Serve as HR/Leadership sponsor for the local Employee Activities Committee
  • Variety of project-based work, including but not limited to organization/efficiency improvement for the HR Group, staffing support, talent management and organizational structure and development
  • Any other tasks assigned by supervisor or management

Minimum Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous HR and administrative experience preferred
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures with HR Generalist knowledge required including applicable state and federal laws
  • Skills/Abilities: Ability to handle highly confidential information and manage information with utmost integrity. Demonstrated strong MS Office skill (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Power Point); Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and team facilitation skills

Education / Certification:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • HRCI or SHRM Certification preferred
  • 1 year(s) HR Generalist experience preferred

Eligibility Requirement:
  • This position requires access to controlled data or information and therefore only US persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Salary range: $76,000-$90,000. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Compensation packages also include comprehensive benefits, 401K contribution and match, Paid Time Off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement and more. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
