Hr Generalist

Opportunity Stanislaus is helping Yosemite Foods recruit an HR Generalist. 

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR functions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITY

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
• Administer employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
• Administer Class A Drivers DOT compliance programs.
• Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including policies, benefits, and performance management.
• Schedule and conduct training sessions on various HR topics to enhance employee development and compliance.
• Coordinate employee benefits enrollment and changes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Handle employee relation issues and conduct investigations when necessary.
• Collaborate with management to identify and address workforce planning needs.
• Stay current on HR trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance.
• Work in a team player environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.
• Bilingual English / Spanish a must
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical problem solver.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized with effective time management skills.

SCHEDULE

• Monday through Friday, occasionally a Saturday or a Sunday when needed.
• 40 hours per week and OT as needed.
