Opportunity Stanislaus is helping Yosemite Foods recruit an HR Generalist.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR functions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
RESPONSIBILITY
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
- Administer employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Administer Class A Drivers DOT compliance programs.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including policies, benefits, and performance management.
- Schedule and conduct training sessions on various HR topics to enhance employee development and compliance.
- Coordinate employee benefits enrollment and changes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Handle employee relation issues and conduct investigations when necessary.
- Collaborate with management to identify and address workforce planning needs.
- Stay current on HR trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance.
- Work in a team player environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.
- Bilingual English / Spanish a must
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical problem solver.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized with effective time management skills.

SCHEDULE
- Monday through Friday, occasionally a Saturday or a Sunday when needed.
- 40 hours per week and OT as needed.
