Job Responsibilities:

- Employee database management (manage drug screening, training platforms, benefits, employee information, etc.)
- Support internal and external recruitment initiatives, attend community functions and job fairs when appropriate.
- On-boarding and off-boarding tasks and support.
- Management of payroll deductions (benefits, child support orders, garnishments, etc.)
- Address employee inquiries, concerns, and conflicts in a timely manner.
- Assist in the education of employees around policies, procedures, HR platforms, benefits, etc.
- Support and manage HR compliance reporting with OSHA, workers compensation, EEO-1 reports, etc.
- Support and assist with educating employees around Employee-Ownership and ESOP initiatives.
- Assist with HR communications across the company through email, postings, and speaking at meetings when needed.
- Serve as an Administrative role within the HRIS and the functions within the system.
- Champion ideas on system improvements within the HR department.
- Serve as second in command within the HR department.
- Collaborate with other departments for task completion, special projects, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Successful candidate will possess:
- High school diploma or equivalent education, some higher education preferred.
- Prior experience within HR Generalist role preferred.
- Experience working with Paylocity is a plus.
- Strong sense of self awareness and personal agency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic with a team player attitude.
- Reliable and dependable adherence to work schedule.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random hair follicle drug screenings.
