We are seeking Direct Care Workers to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis!
You will assist in the daily care of elderly or disabled individuals.
This is an excellent entry level opportunity with potential to fast track to a Care Coordinator position. Experience is preferred, however training and development provided for ideal candidates.*
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities (ADL).
- Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties.
- Collaborate with peers, support coordinators, members and families for best care opportunities.
- Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment.
- Ability to build rapport with members and families,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Direct care for loved ones with developmental and/or physical disabilities will be considered in lieu of professional experience.
Requirements:
- Must be over the age of 18.
- Possess or ability to obtain Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Posses or ability to obtain CPR, First Aid and Article 9 certifications.
- Valid Driver's License (reliable transportation is desirable although not required).
- Patience and a willingness to positively impact our member's lives
We will assist you in obtaining all required certifications if you do not have them. Trainings are free onsite.
Preferences:
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish) highly desirable
- Reliable transportation is a plus although not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
