Their primary responsibility is to assist the Human Resources Director to provide guidance for all human resources services, policies and programs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assists the Human Resources Director in providing technical support and advice for all human resources policies and procedures
• Strategically collaborates with HR team in developing new HR initiatives and takes a lead role launching those initiatives
• Guides and oversees FMLA and ADA leaves of absence
• Partners with managers regarding employee relations issues and guides them in the performance improvement process
• Monitors changes in HR laws and regulations and develops and amends company policies accordingly, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
• Audits human resources records, including employee files, ensuring accuracy, legal compliance and confidentiality of information
• Assists in recruitment efforts for specific positions
• Liaises with staffing agencies for temporary associates
• Drafts and assembles offer and termination packages
• Acts as primary backup for payroll and benefit administration
• Assists in directing the performance appraisal process
• Performs other duties, as assigned
