This onsite role is based at San Francisco Bay Area (South San Francisco, Santa Clara, Pleasanton) and will support Global Commercial & Marketing Team. The position holder is a valuable key member of the Global Commercial HRBP team and NA regional commercial leadership team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated self-starter who has strong and well-rounded HR background to progress their career as a Global HR Director. Act as the primary Point of Contact for remote-based commercial and marketing organization. Often supports employee related actions at all levels. Typically partners with Commercial and Marketing leadership team members for global HR process roll-ups like calibration, compensation planning, HRR, etc. This is the strategic thought partner for assigned commercial and marketing organization. May be part of the Field HR’s extended team for meetings and communications.
To achieve this, you will collaborate to develop and translate forward-thinking strategy in the areas of talent management, organizational development, performance management, career development, employee relations, diversity, compensation planning, and change leadership into practical HR actions.
What You Will Contribute:
Talent Advocate
Translate strategic priorities into innovative HR actions and solutions that advance the attraction, motivation, development, and retention of diverse, hardworking people resources. Identify and resolve gaps in talent attraction and management, including recruitment, assessment, and development to cultivate a positive culture built upon our 4i values (Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement).
HR Analytics and Data Driven Insights
Use data and people metrics dashboards to drive continuous improvement of talent and business capabilities, as well as influence change in HR tactics/strategy.
Consultation
Provides high level HR expertise, support and coaching to business leaders and managers on HR policies and processes, people management, and career development. Counsel employees and leadership in the navigation of performance management and employee relations matters. Guide leaders and teams on human capital strategies with a balance of innovation, risk, compliance, and culture shaping considerations that produce results.
Change Leadership
Serve as a motivator for change by championing initiatives for the commercial team. Craft innovative solutions to organizational design issues that support long-term business goals.
Organizational Adaptability and Resolve
Builds credibility and develops trusted relationships with business leaders, field HR and COE to guide commercial team’s activities, shape culture, and drive sales effectiveness and employee engagement. Establish a solid organizational network that promotes core, common, and consistent activities.
Project/Process Management
Lead HR and projects with large scale initiatives and annual processes and partnering with appropriate HRBPs. Participate in the group, division, and Global Commercial & Marketing HR team to drive HR projects and initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master’s degree is preferred
- PHR/SPHR and other professional certification is desirables
Experience:
- 12+ years of comprehensive HR experience in a regional HR position or large company required; prior experience as a strategic business partner of commercial team is desirable.
- Expertise in implementing business and change programs and processes that yield positive results.
- Proven results partnering within a matrix and with HR COE partners to reach consensus and achieve favorable outcomes.
