We are looking to hire the HR Director, Arvada and CP North America
In this role, you will play a critical role in leading the HR Operations of a mid-size manufacturing site located in Arvada, as well as the remote Cardiopulmonary (CP)North Americacommercial organization.
We are looking for an experienced HR Professional who enjoys the broad scope of manufacturing, commercial and functional HR support. Reporting to the Vice President, HR - Cardiopulmonary located in Europe, this person must be confident in working in a matrix global organization while equally happy working independently at our Arvada, CO manufacturing site daily, with a hands-on approach, interfacing effectively with employees at all levels. We are looking for an excellent communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a positive culture.
The mission of this position is:
- Accountable for the Talent agenda of your area of responsibility especially focused on attracting, developing and retaining talent and solving for succession gaps in order to operationalize the Cardiopulmonary business strategy.
- Responsible for aligning HR practices with CP business goals, ensuring that our workforce is equipped and empowered to contribute effectively to our success
- Partner with local CP leadership to develop and implement HR initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture, drive employee engagement and support the professional development of our employees.
- Lead and encourage a diverse and inclusive workplace culture in both people and thought leadership.
- Influence, establish and maintain effective relationships and gain reputation as trusted advisor and business partner
- Drive and manage culture development and change management initiatives that support the business in its innovation and growth objectives
- Coach and counsel CP management to address employee relations issues and provide leadership development.
- Uphold a strong work ethic with a high drive, high expectations positive attitude, along with crisp execution in the position to make a daily impact to the business.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Ability to be on-site most days
- Bachelor's degree as a minimum
- Minimum of 10 years' experience as an HR Generalist and at least 2-3 years as Senior Manager or HR Director of a manufacturing site.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization liaising with HR organization including all COE's and CP business leaders to ensure desired goals are met.
- Data driven mindset: leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive initiatives that contribute to the success of the business.
- Knowledge of US labor laws affecting employment and local legal limitations.
- Strong HR business partner consulting skills and problem-solving skills; excellent decision making/analysis skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to build sustainable relationships with cross-functional teams.
- A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the ''pulse'' of the employee to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
- Comfortable with rapid and complex changing environment.
- Strong internal and external customer centric mindset.
- Knowledge or experience with Workday will be a plus.
