The Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic HR leader to join our team as HR Director. The HRD will be an experienced leader with strong HR operational experience and the ability to play a strategic role in the growth plans Planview has for 2024.

Reporting to the Group Vice President, Global HR, the HRD will play a key role in building a world-class Sales, and Marketing function and must bring significant ambition, and drive to the organization, particularly in fostering a pragmatic and dynamic business partnering culture within the HR function.

This position will partner with multiple leaders globally and with the broader global HR team. The role translates overall company strategy to the business and organization and drives it for change and implementation in order to achieve its business objectives. You will be instrumental in creating a culture that enables our talented teams to do their best work. The HRD must be passionate about people and want to make an impact on Planview’s culture and success.

 

This role will have direct reports and other key relationships include the Chief Revenue Officer, and the Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer.

The role will be based at our HQ in Austin, Texas.


What You'll Do
  • To coach and advise management to ensure the organization structure; roles within the business and talent are optimal for driving business success.
  • Achieve significant progress in addressing key talent pipeline management priorities; with a particular focus on executive development, succession, and diversity of the talent pipeline, and succession to prioritized leadership roles.
  • Ensure talent diversity remains high on the leadership agenda, with appropriate plans and programs in place to drive sustainable improvements in gender diversity at senior levels.
  • Continue the focus on culture through a strong focus on the company’s key values, so that these are embedded into habitual and visible leadership behavior; support this by ensuring these values form the thread that binds together all key people processes and integrates them with the business strategy and plans.
  • Execute and provide valuable insights, advice, guidance, and coaching to managers on all HR aspects - talent management, compensation & benefits, training and development, performance management, employee engagement, retention and more.
  • Ensure legal compliance and provide guidance in local employment laws, processes, and policies.
  • Ensure all compliance requirements are met.
  • Work with the global HR team and HR COE’s on design, development and integration of HR processes, practices, programs, and initiatives.
  • Build a high-performing HR function.
