SRC, Inc. is currently seeking an HR Data Analyst / Business Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining HR systems, ensuring data quality, analyzing, and reporting on data from the HR systems and assist with compensation related analysis.
What You'll Do
- Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, compensation surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources
- Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Evaluates data for accuracy and monitors for consistency/integrity issues
- Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to HR, executive leadership, and business partners
- Assist Compensation Manager with internal and external equity analysis, compensation ranges, market analysis and salary planning and administration
- Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics
- May conduct or assist with conducting classification audits to ensure that jobs are properly classified as exempt or nonexempt
- Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices
- May guide and/or assist with performance, benefit, and compensation review and evaluation processes
- Performs other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 3+ years of related experience, such as job classification and compensation, recruitment, selection, training, employee benefits, HRIS, and/or equal opportunity compliance preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel functions
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS, payroll, and other employee management software
Ways to Stand Out – Preferred Requirements
- Experience with Dayforce, SuccessFactors and Jobvite preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Power BI with creating visuals and programming

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is $70,000 - $75,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as geographic location.
