The Human Resource GeneralistIQR reports to the VP of Human Resources/Head of Human Resources and will be based in White Plains, NY. This is a professional-level position that requires the ability to work collaboratively within the HR team and with partner groups. The HR Generalist IQR will be responsible for a range of HR-related duties, including data analytics, workday reporting, immigration case management, administration of global mobility program, employee experience related to onboarding/offboarding, handbook and policy updates, affirmative action plans, and special projects.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Creates ad-hoc and established reports and provides analysis on same. Consolidates turnover, employee movement data, recruiting status, etc. reporting on established schedule and supports the interpretation of data and recommends next steps. Evaluates reporting on key HR business processes.
- Works closely with Head of HR IQR, HRPD and HRBP team.
- Responsible for team member experience on key HR Business Processes
- Supports HR leadership on special projects including Mergers & Acquisitions due diligence, Post Merger Integration, restructuring, etc.
- Supports Immigration and global mobility assignments working with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) as needed.
- Responsible for data integrity related to government reporting including working closely with external consultants on AAP and EEO-1 forms
- Prepares and analyzes key employee data sets.
- Manages employee service awards programs and supports reward and recognition programs as assigned.
- Manages administration of IQR internship program for IQR, shares on social media and via internal channels
- Creates internal communication for HR, including presentations, memorandums, etc.
- Creates posts for HR in social media, sharing experiences for employee newsletter, community outreach, internship programs, etc.
- Maintains flexibility and a positive attitude toward innovation and change.
- Performs business intelligence research and innovation project initiatives.
- Maintains current understanding of employee engagement. Proposes & Implements strategies to drive employee engagement, culture, and organizational capabilities, working collaboratively with HRBPs IQR.
- Maintains strong knowledge of legislation about employment, compensation and benefits and other related human resources functions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required (e.g., Business, HR, Psychology, Communications) required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR environment
- Advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Workday (reporting and data analytics)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with data analytics
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills required, ability to work on multiple topics and work independently with attention to detail and confidentiality
- Excellent project and collaboration skills
The annual pay range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000
The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
