Opportunity

We are looking for a full time HR Coordinatorfor our head office in Anchorage, AK.

 

     Customer-Centric Support: Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, responding promptly and courteously to inquiries, HR support needs, and policy interpretation. Uphold our company services, workplace culture, philosophy, and core values in all interactions.

 

     Administrative Proficiency: Demonstrate excellent administrative support, showcasing strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Your personable and professional demeanor, coupled with sound judgment, integrity, and the ability to handle sensitive situations, makes you an integral part of our HR team.

 

     Communication and Organization: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with interpersonal and organizational prowess. Your working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures, combined with stellar time management, ensures you can thrive in a high-paced environment, meeting deadlines with ease.

 

Qualifications
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant HR or administrative experience
  • Prior experience in recruiting/sourcing/HR or medical field preferred
Key responsibilities
  • Manage and direct departmental phone calls and oversee the receipt, distribution, and tracking of office mail to ensure efficient communication within the organization.
  • Schedules and coordinate appointments, interviews, pre-employment exams to optimize recruitment process.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
  • Assists with processing of terminations and support throughout the offboarding process.
  • Conduct various clerical functions, including photocopying, mailing, scanning, and emailing documents.
  • Prepare new employee files and organize documents into appropriate employee files and HR systems.
  • Support the organization's strategic initiatives by providing Human Resources administrative support to all management and workforce staff.
  • Provide direct support to Human Resources Director.
  • Primary duties support all phases of on-boarding, off-boarding, full employment life cycle.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Physical Demand and Work Conditions

Work conditions are such that significant time will be spent walking, standing, stooping, sitting, and include some lifting.

Contingencies

Offer contingent upon ability to pass pre-employment drug testing (federal panel), physical exam, background check and motor vehicle report.
