Position Summary:
Under the general direction of the HR Director, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for actively partnering with health center leaders to fulfill Codman Square Health Center's (CSHC) mission, achieve our vision, and live our values. The HRBP will serve as a strategic partner while also providing hands-on generalist responsibilities for execution of all HR programs, processes and operational activities. This position will be responsible for the following areas: employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, career coaching and organizational training.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as subject matter expert for HR services, including coaching and development, performance management, job and employee data changes, recruitment, separations, compensation, employee relations, training, succession management, employee retention, and engagement;
- Support employee relations efforts and the performance management process, by providing coaching and counseling to employees and managers as well as clarifying HR practices and procedures;
- Liaison with internal Human Resources functions on organizational design, recognition programs, staffing, compensation, benefits, training, promotions and other employee transactions;
- Assess organizational training needs,
- Analyze and use needs assessment results to support the development and roll-out of trainings programs that will promote organizational effectiveness.
- Utilize health center's core values as the basis for decision-making and to facilitate the health center's goals and mission;
- Improves organization effectiveness through leadership, organizational development and effective human resources management (HRM) across the health center. Partners with other HR functions and subject matter specialists where appropriate to accomplish this goal;
- Provides guidance, counsel, and coaching to management and employees on performance improvement processes and/or corrective action and disciplinary processes as appropriate;
- Ensures the business attracts, develops and retains high quality talent at all levels by working with the recruitment specialist to ensure a continuous pipeline of candidates;
- Ensures that the effective development and implementation of employee on-boarding, career development, management and retention strategies and initiatives are in place to support business objectives; and,
Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required;
- 3-5 years' experience working in advances roles in human resources;
- 1-3 years' experience developing and presenting trainings programs across an organization;
- PHR or SPHR certification (or equivalent related professional designation), preferred but not required;
- Proven history of success in health care or social service environments desired;
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment;
- Ability to coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues while remaining impartial;
- Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, and employment law;
- Mediation, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills;
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals from various socio-economic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds;
- Demonstrated expertise of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations;
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs, ATS and HRIS programs (strong preference for experience with ADP Workforce Now or Paycom);
- Strong attention to details required;
- Experience conducting investigations of complaints and concerns, preferred; and,
- Bilingual speaking highly desirable;
