- Workforce Planning: Collaborate with business leaders to understand the staffing needs and develop workforce plans to ensure the right talent is in place to meet business objectives.
- Onboarding and Training: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to be successful in their roles.
- Performance Management: Implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and coaching, to drive performance and development within the business unit.
- Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor and handle employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
- Talent Development: Identify and develop high-potential employees, create and implement talent development programs, and provide opportunities for skill-building and career advancement.
- Compensation and Benefits: Collaborate with the compensation and benefits team to ensure competitive and equitable compensation packages and benefits for employees in the cloud consulting business unit.
- Succession Planning: Identify key positions and develop succession plans to ensure the continuity of leadership and critical roles within the business unit.
- Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives to foster employee engagement, such as employee recognition programs, team-building activities, and communication channels to promote a positive and inclusive culture.
- HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements, and provide guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters. Remember, these tasks may vary depending on the specific needs and structure of the cloud consulting business unit.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, with a minimum 8 years of experience in the HR Business Partner role.
- Successful experience as an HR leader in a mid size company aligned to the specific HR Business Partner role/client group.
- Demonstrated experience in the various HR functional areas, especially organization development, change management, and employee relations.
- A deep knowledge of HR programs and practices, including applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated credibility and integrity in communications to ensure information flows upward and downward.
- Ability to listen and understand the needs of the employees, together with those of the company.
- Ability to stylistically adapt communication based on audience.
