Job Description
We are looking for a talented, experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Global Manufacturing Operations HR team. In this role you will provide strategy to align business goals with Rockwell Automation polices, process and programs by driving organizational effectiveness, leading change management, organization development, and delivering talent effectiveness programs. As the ideal candidate you will demonstrate functional expertise and be a coach / trusted advisor to leaders, in multiple manufacturing sites, across North America. You will have direct management responsibility of two to three HR Generalists (HRGs) and have the opportunity to lead the people strategy for sites that generate a combined revenue of over $1 billion through a workforce of 1,000+ employees.
Organizational Effectiveness and Workforce Planning

  • Partners with Plant Managers and their direct reports to define short-term and long-term organization development requirements (workforce planning, development, culture, etc.).
  • Drives successful execution of new initiatives, including the rollout of business initiatives and programs focused on organizational and cultural change.
  • Partners with global HR colleagues, COEs, HR Services, and business leaders to create focus on business goals, including delivery of organizational effectiveness and workforce planning.
  • Leverages business acumen to partner with leaders effectively.
  • Provides effective project management within organizational effectiveness and workforce planning.
  • In partnership with site leadership team, sets talent management agenda to drive productivity and cost savings through workforce optimization.
  • Leads the workforce and talent plan across assigned manufacturing sites.

Demonstrate Functional Expertise
  • Partners with leaders to proactively assess, develop and retain talent.
  • Advises and assists Plant Leadership, and other appropriate leaders regarding employee performance issues and actions required for improvement.
  • Understands the business environment and plans (competitive climate, growth, new products, technologies, etc....) and the impact on immediate and longer-term talent needs.
  • Ensures strong leadership capability for the site(s) and the development of leadership competency within Manufacturing Operations.

Scope
  • HRBP for two to three Plant Managers and their leadership teams. The sites would have a combined revenue of over $1 billion
  • Direct management for two to three Manufacturing HR Generalists across the assigned locations. Indirect leadership for additional manufacturing site HRGs across the Americas (North and Latin America)
  • HRBP responsible for 1000+ employees (manufacturing associates and salaried employees)

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years' experience in the areas of compensation, performance management, employee development, organizational development, consultation and coaching, change management, and employee relations
  • 5 years' experience specifically with consultative, leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • 3-5 years' of people management experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing/operations environment preferred
