Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner will act as a liaison between Human Resources and the business. The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic partner with local plant management and the Director of Human Resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Works with Director or Human Resources to ensure a unified company image is maintained for all HR related matters.
- Aligning HR practices with business goals and leading change management projects.
- Ensures employee and company information is confidentially maintained.
- Conducts an open-door policy regarding employee issues/concerns.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues and improve work relationships and productivity.
- Analyze trends and metrics and report on HR functions.
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting comply.
- Administers SMAC bonus program for managers.
- Develops company policies and handbooks in conjunction with Director of Human Resources and communicating to employees.
- Works with managers to ensure disciplinary actions and terminations are approved and handled appropriately.
- Writes contracts for promotions, transfers, and new hires and develops company policies and practices.
- Self-assesses and receives training as required.
