Our next HR Business Partner will collaborate with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement. In addition, they will own programs that run across the broader HR team.
To be successful in this role, you must understand business priorities and translate them into the highest impact work. You will help business leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention, and the overall employee experience. To succeed, you will need a flexible skill set, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations.
Additionally, Successful Candidates Will Demonstrate:
· Being a trusted advisor to managers and employees in all aspects of HR and Talent including employee and labor relations, talent and performance management, health and safety, employee engagement, conflict management, change management, and labor/employee relations.
· Providing partnership, counsel, and expertise on people matters to drive business outcomes.
· Participating in HR and cross-functional projects in support of key organizational and talent initiatives.
· Creating a culture for employees to speak up about their concerns through consistent application of employee policies and practices and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
· The ability to understand business goals as well as design and implement new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and development of HR within the company
· The desire and ability to be an influential and credible senior HR leader within the team, including setting the tone, agenda, and direction of the HR team and providing the necessary support, follow-up, and leadership to ensure the team achieves desired results
· Solutions-focused and be comfortable working in an environment that demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions
· Bias for action, stellar work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence
· Operates with autonomy and discretion; A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
· Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment
· Ensuring compliance with all pertinent HR-related laws and regulations.
Success in this role will require influential partnerships with middle and senior management within the organization to execute the HR strategies that foster organizational and people effectiveness. The individual in this role must understand business priorities and translate them into an HR agenda that supports the business as it grows. Additionally, the individual in this role is accountable for partnering with leadership to teach, coach, and cultivate the Service Minds culture by ensuring the People First Principles are taught, lived, and integrated in each aspect of the role.
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field required, Master’s degree/MBA a plus.
· 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in front-facing roles. Experience implementing talent and performance management initiatives. Prior experience working with a trades organization a plus.
· Ability to develop credibility and rapport with all levels of the organization; strong interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels of management.
· A natural collaborator that excels at balancing the needs of different stakeholders.
· Superior communicator; delivers clear, concise, and influential messaging – both oral and written.
· Comfortable operating in an environment with competing priorities; with a strong aptitude for adaptability and innovative thinking.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently with critical attention to detail and follow through on projects to completion.
· Ability to travel within the State of Florida; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of some of the requirements.
· Proficient in HR tech platforms; experience with ADP is a plus
