Job Summary
This position will work with the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources department understands that IIE's mission can only be accomplished by fostering a network of colleagues that feel supported. Our goal is to partner with managers and leaders to find, grow, and retain high performing teams. We do this by serving as strategic partners that provide guidance through the entirety of the employment life cycle, including talent acquisition, total rewards, policy implementation, performance management, and development. Additionally, we provide guidance on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) initiatives and incorporate these principles into all that we do in order to enhance a supportive work environment for all team members.
Essential Functions:
• Partners with and advises designated business leaders on the development and implementation of human capital management strategies that facilitate the achievement of business goals and enable the business to cultivate a high performing workforce. Develops strong relationships and an in-depth understanding of the client's business, in conjunction with staying abreast of industry practices, to advise on strategies including staffing, retention, performance, and team member development.
• Lead moderately complex HR global initiatives, projects, and process improvements, promoting consistency in application across business units and geographic locations (domestic or international). This may include compensation and promotion, talent planning, performance management, learning & development, and diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Advises managers on talent identification and proactive performance management throughout the year. Helps clients groups utilize learning and development programs and identify career development and advancement opportunities that meet their individual and team needs. Advises management on the resolution of day-to-day complex employee relations issues. Manages and resolves issues including but not limited to disciplinary actions, performance, union relations, and investigations. Conducts and documents effective, thorough and objective investigations. Reduces legal risks and ensures regulatory compliance by maintaining knowledge of legal requirements relating to HR Management.
• Manage, develop and drive the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that align with the business priorities and goals.
• Handles full life-cycle recruitment process for a requisition load; including but not limited to recruitment kick-off, identifying and sourcing appropriate talent, interviewing, and developing offers in alignment with IIE compensation guidelines. Develops recruitment strategies to include job posting optimization, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment branding, and comprehensive recruitment campaign planning. Engages and proactively communicates with clients and candidates throughout the process. Maintains compliant recruitment records.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
Education and Work Experience:
• Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of related work experience, or combination education and experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Must have HR experience in talent management initiatives, corporate talent acquisition, and/or employee relations.
• Knowledge of federal/state employment laws and regulations as they apply to recruitment and selection required, including OFCCP.
• Ability to help clients identify issues and trends, develop solutions and/or recommendations that reflect a balance of meeting business objectives and talent management considerations.
• Ability to tailor HR advice to client needs and present information to clients that considers business impacts and articulate the benefits for stakeholders.
• Excellent communications and organizational skills with a high attention to detail and ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, various applicant tracking systems, databases and social media.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Experience with international non-profits, higher education, or the development sector a plus.
Salary and Benefits
Salary Range:$90,314 - $109,190. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, abilities, internal organizational equity, and geographic region.
