The Human Resources Associate – Benefits has a primary responsibilities of supporting benefits for Brightpoint employees, including serving as the initial point of contact for benefits-related questions and managing other benefits responsibilities related to reconciliation of invoices, leaves of absences, workers compensation claims, and unemployment benefits. The Human Resources Associate – Benefits also assists with monitoring and responding to staff inquiries from various inboxes. Additional responsibilities may include responding to unemployment claims and drafting letters of correspondence.
Candidate qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of two years of professional administrative experience required.
- Experience working with confidential records management required.
- Experience with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) highly desirable; preference for UltiPro/UKG.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal laws pertaining to fair employment practices a plus.
Job details:
Compensation:$21/hr
- Benefits: Medical/dental/vision insurance, 3+ weeks paid time off in the first year including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day (PTO increases with tenure); 11 paid holidays, supplemental insurance options, 401(k) with match (more benefits details here)
- Location: 200 West Monroe Street (downtown Chicago loop)
- Schedule: Full-time; Hybrid (remote/in office two days per week)
