What this job is about
The 988 Hotline andBehavioral Health Crisis System Coordinator will provide project coordination and oversight for the implementation and administration of the 988 crisis hotline. You will work collaboratively with state agencies and community stakeholders such as: crisis call center hub contractors, Behavioral Health administrative service organizations, county authorities, other crisis hotline centers, managed care organizations, and 911 emergency communications systems to achieve Governor Inslee's vision for the 988 crisis hotline.What will you be doing?
  • Oversee and coordinate the implementation and administration of the 988 crisis hotline program with Behavioral Health organizations.
  • Collaborate with the lead state agencies to support crisis call center hubs to provide necessary support services for 988 callers, and achieve alignment on the implementation of the new program.
  • Ensure coordination and facilitate communication between stakeholders
  • Review the development of training for crisis call center personnel, and 911 operators in collaboration with the state enhanced 911 coordination office.
  • Coordinate the implementation of other Behavioral Health initiatives among state agencies and educational institutions, including data coordination between agencies.
  • Keep legislators and stakeholders informed and engaged with the development and implementation of the new program.
  • Work closely with the Governor's policy advisor, 988 project manager, Behavioral Health project manager, state agency staff and others to build the program.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience or firm understanding of the Behavioral Health Crisis System, Behavioral Health systems, healthcare, or closely related field.
  • Experience working in state agency roles in Behavioral Health.
  • Experience leading coalition initiatives, working with multiple entities to align on a strategy and coordinate implementation.
  • Experience working with IT experts on large IT systems and/or new IT projects.
