Job Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.).
- Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc.) and take minutes.
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.).
- Communicate with public services when necessary.
- Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.
- Assist recruiters in posting job ads on careers pages and processing received resumes.
- Answer phone calls and provide needed information.
- Maintain databases and create reports.
- Help organize and manage new employee induction and training programs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and the legal framework.
- Participate in HR projects (e.g., help organize a job fair event).
- Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field required
- 0-2 years of experience in a human resources role or a related internship
- Basic understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Working knowledge of HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Willingness to learn and to grow with the company
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Adaptability and flexibility in a changing work environment
- Proactive approach to tasks and initiative-taking
- Eligibility to work in the respective country of employment
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
