Cambridge Management, Inc. (CMI) began in 1987 as a small team managing a portfolio of communities in Tacoma, Washington. Our focus soon shifted to providing quality management for affordable housing communities. These affordable communities provide homes for those with limited incomes including families, senior citizens, and people with disabilities. Today, our team has grown to nearly 500 employees managing 164 communities and more than 14,600 apartment homes. Our portfolio includes market rate, Low Income Housing Tax Credit, and Project-Based Section-8 communities that range in size from 6 to 344 units. We currently manage communities in California, Florida, Hawaii, North Carolina, Tennessee, Washington State, and Virginia.
Summary
Cambridge Management, Inc. is looking for a Human Resources Admin Assistant who will be responsible for a variety of responsibilities which requires a general understanding of Human Resources functions. The Human Resources Admin performs human resources-related duties and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: training, recruiting, and HRIS system implementation & maintenance.
Essential Functions
- Works effectively as part of the Human Resources Team
- Answers calls, emails and responds to employee inquiries and requests
- Data entry into HRIS system and excel workbooks
- Create and maintains new hire files
- Uses HRIS (UKG) to enter and extract employee data; develop and run reports.
- Assist with coordination of employee engagement activities.
- Assists background check process and on boarding new employees.

- Position Salary Range: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour!
- Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am to 1:00pm
- Hours: Parttime (22.5 hours)

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year experience in Human Resources department preferred
- Proficient in MS office
- Experience using HRIS software preffered, UKG experience a plus!
- Ability to work in a fact paced office
- A strong desire to learn and grown in the HR field
