Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated HR Assistant to join our team at our facility located in Buford, GA, 30518. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in people management, possess excellent communication skills, the ability to adapt and learn quickly, and be proficient in Office 365 applications.
Responsibilities
- Support HR Manager in people related topics and issues on a daily basis
- Serve as main point of contact for employees regarding payroll, benefits, PTO, etc.
- Track employee attendance, PTO, leaves, and process payroll
- Manage employee records and ensure compliance with legal regulations
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding processes
- Provide support in training new employees
- Assist with leadership, change, and people management initiatives
- Handle administrative tasks related to HR functions
- Handle administrative tasks related to general site needs
- Perform other tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications
- 3 years experience in Human Resources / People Management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Office 365 proficiency (specifically, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams)
- Ability to handle confidential information with tact and professionalism
- Conflict resolution skills
- Highly collaborative and team player
- Experience in leadership and people management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
