ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Support HR Director and Regional Business Office Managers in the field with day to day functions and projects, as they emerge
  • Oversee Employee Recruiting & Onboarding Process
  • Assistance in 401k Audits as needed
  • Assistance in Benefit Administration- Update policies and benefits/onboarding information
  • Legal poster compliance maintenance for all locations
  • Assist HR Director with any safety initiatives, projects and education
  • Background, MVR and Drug Test review for potential candidates
  • Hiring assistance for managers, assessment distribution as requested
  • Create Quarterly Engine company newsletter, gather story and picture submissions
  • Create and distribute monthly birthday emails
  • Create and submit Employee Engagement Surveys to gather employee feedback
  • Create Payroll & Holiday Calendars
  • File maintenance- Medical files, I-9s and E-Verify forms, Work Opportunity Tax Credits, Corporate personnel files, authorization forms, and ensuring new hires do no start work without background check and drug screen approval from HR
  • Gather and track monthly location statistics- New hires terminations, leave of absence, open positions, turnover, etc.
  • Office Management Duties – Ordering office supplies as needed, greeting and welcoming guests, checking office mail daily, keep office kitchen neat and stocked, create and send FedEx deliveries as needed

MARGINAL DUTIES include ad hoc duties as they may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Solid knowledge of all MS Office products
  • HRIS knowledge preferred (ADP and/or UltiPro desired)

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE  

  • Minimum of (1) years of human resources experience
  • Experience is a plus: Canva Design Platform, Survey Monkey, Smartsheet, HRIS System

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Requires good verbal and written skills
  • Must be able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization

REASONING ABILITY

  • Basic reasoning ability and good conflict management skills
  • Basic mathematical skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

  • Extended sitting and computer use
  • Light lifting may be required

HOURS OF WORK

  • Approximately 40 hours weekly, Monday-Friday, typically during normal business hours 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Critical projects may require extended hours
