Form of workWe are looking for a Human Resource Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities include providing administrative support to employees on the TEST3 Contract. To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
This position is located at the Johnson Space Center NASA White Sands Test Facility site in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Sierra Lobo, offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies. We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

This position performs a variety of general personnel clerical tasks in such areas as employee records, benefits, education, training, employment/staffing, compensation, employee labor relations, and equal employment opportunity/affirmative action. The HR Assistant will complete administrative duties for the TEST3 human resources department to include:
- General clerical support for HR department
- Ensure efficient and accurate new hire on-boarding
- Provide new hire orientation to educate employees on their benefit election options.
- Compose and edit correspondence and other documents, preparation of information and reports
- Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
- Assists with implementation of employee relations, retention and reward programs
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Candidates must have a High School diploma and a minimum of 1 year of experience working in an HR capacity.
Familiar with desktop computer applications including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Candidate must be a US citizen.
