The Role
The HR Assistant will assist with various HR matters with a focus on recruitment and benefit administration. The HR Assistant will report directly to the HR Director and will be integral in facilitating the organization's growth and fostering a values driven and dynamic team culture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- General HR support.
- Benefit administration including enrollments, changes and termination. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance provided to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing for all new hires, transfers, promotions, changes and terminations.
- Maintain accurate HR files, ensure timely filing of applicable documents.
- Review/screen resumes, schedule interviews and collaborate with hiring managers to fill positions in a timely manner.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for onsite interviews.
- Assist with HR projects.
- Assist with event planning.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Required: High school diploma or GED
- Required: At least two years administrative experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in related field
