Our growing team is looking for an HR & Accounting Assistant in our Edina, MN office to support the HR and Finance teams 20-30 hours per week. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
HR Administration
- Coordinate, execute, and support activities related to employee hiring, training, continuing development, welfare, and retirement/termination in alignment with Corporate HR
- Periodically review and update company policies
Accounting Administration
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Prepare tax returns (federal & state returns with accountant)
- Close books monthly, maintain asset records, reconcile bank accounts
General Administration
- Manage banking relationship
- Manage business insurances
- Coordinate general office activities (maintenance, supply restocking, preparing for visitors)
- Process occasional local sales orders
- Manage loans and local inventory
- Physical shipping and receiving
- Process RMA Requests (as needed when RMA Coordinator is out)
- Manage mail
Requirements:
- Bookkeeping & accounting experience, related degree or certification preferred
- HR administration experience, related degree or certification preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 – Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint
- Enjoys a small office work environment
