Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant/Houseperson

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant/Houseperson to join our team at a hotel. As part of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in guest rooms and common areas, as well as handling laundry duties.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas

- Make beds and change linens

- Dust furniture and vacuum carpets

- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms

- Empty trash and dispose of waste

- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and ironing

- Sort and organize linens, towels, and other laundry items

- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

- Other duties as required by supervior

Skills:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or related field preferred

- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning products

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks

- Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency

- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy loads

- Familiarity with hotel operations is a plus
