Laundry Attendant ~ Spin It Baby Laundromat

Spin it Baby Laundromat is a sister company to Capulet Cleaning, Charlottes premier short term rental cleaning company.

Positions available across 1st, and 2nd shift. Shifts will alternate through the week.

We operate the Spin it Baby laundromat Monday-Sunday

8am-9pm

1st shift 8am-4pm

2nd shift, 3pm-9pm

Must have experience with large volume wash & fold

Sunday availability is mandatory!

Reliable transportation and a valid Drivers license in required for this position.

Responsibilities will vary depending on shift.

Laundry Associate Responsibilities:

~Collect dirty and wet laundry bags from the drop off location at the front of the store.

~Sort and prepare laundry for the wash, dry, fold process.

~Spot treat items that may need special attention

~Transport laundry from washers to dryers.

~Fold, pack, and prepare the folded laundry to be picked up and delivered back to our storage facility.

Laundry Associate Work Environment:

~You'll work from a great Laundromat right near our storage facility.

~Relaxed dress code. Wear whatever makes you feel the most comfortable and productive. Think jeans, t-shirts, and closed toe shoes.

Pay & Perks:

~We have a new pay structure that allows you to maximize your earnings based on your personal habits. Reliability and productivity are at the core of everything we do. That's why we generously reward those who crush it day in and day out.

~Starting rate of $15 per hour

~Potential for raises at 90 days, 6 months, 1 year, and beyond

~Weekly pay every Friday

Laundry Associate Requirements:

~Laundry can get heavy, so you need to be able to lift 30-50 pounds

~Must be able to fold all types of sheets (flat, fitted, towels, etc)

~Not afraid of going above-and-beyond when needed

~Driven by quality and accuracy

~Dependable and passionate about your work

Responsibilities:
- Sort and separate laundry items according to color, fabric, and type
- Load and unload washing machines and dryers
- Operate laundry equipment and follow proper procedures for cleaning and maintenance
- Inspect items for stains, tears, or damage and report any issues to the supervisor
- Fold, iron, and package clean laundry for delivery or storage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Familiarity with different fabrics and their care instructions
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Attention to detail to ensure items are properly cleaned and handled
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
