To empower our front line, LuxUrban Management Teams are responsible for owning all aspects of the hotel operation, including but not limited to the performance of (1) revenue via the management of occupancy and rates; (2) guest satisfaction and guest review scores, guest reward program sign ups, and property brand recognition; (3) labor cost, employee experience, and teamwork; (4) inventory and supply costs; and (5) repairs and maintenance.
The Management Team works cross functionally with corporate Operations, Human Resources, Sales and Reservations, Procurement, and Engineering, as well as the property owner to ensure the hotel and team are equipped and able to deliver on guest and company expectations.

RESPONSIBILTIES
Guest Experience
- Oversee daily arrivals and departures
- Greet and build relationships guests
- Recognize guest loyalty/VIPs with personalized notes or amenities
- Resolve guest complaints and respond to guest reviews
Financial Performance
- Manage the hotel’s operational costs
- Manage against targets for revenue, labor costs, and similar metrics
Sales and Marketing
- Promote the hotel in the local community
- Work with corporate Sales and Marketing to execute promotions/campaigns to maximize occupancy and rates
Hiring and People Management
- Post job ads/requests to job boards and/or union portal
- Interview candidates and make hiring decisions
- Create/post employee schedules
- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day hotel operations
- Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Identify knowledge gaps and work with corporate Human Resources to provide training
- Work with corporate Human Resources to create incentives for employees
Facilites
- Communicate with vendors or contractors for repairs and supplies
- Work with corporate Procurement to place supply orders
- Ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety and security standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
- Familiarity with hotel software
- Excellent communication and people skills with high emotional intelligence
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Creative, resourceful and entrepreneurial problem solver
- Minimum 2-3 years of functional hotel management experience
- Hospitality Management and/or Business Administration degree (preferred)
TERMS

COMPENSATION
- $67,600 - $150,000 per year
