FRONT DESK AGENT (PART TIME OR FULL TIME)
South Seattle hotel located in Georgetown is recruiting a Front Desk Agent. If you are a dedicated team player with a positive attitude and incredible people skills, we would love to speak with you. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Joyfully welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms
- Perform detailed check in and check out process politely, accurately and efficiently
- Facilitate direct reservations via telephone and email inquiries
- Answer main phone line and route calls
- Complete daily sales settlement and update sales reports
- Provide concierge service including restaurant recommendations, directions, etc.
- Provide information about our hotel, rooms, rates, and amenities
- Create and send emails to our potential and current guests including but not limited to confirmation emails, general inquiries, cancellation requests, etc.
- Work with housekeeping staff on room status and ensure rooms are in optimal condition for guests
- Conduct security patrols of property, monitor surveillance cameras for unusual activity
- Provide guest wake-up calls
- Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
- Light cleaning of public areas
Skills/Experience/Other Requirements:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and holidays
- Previous hospitality and Front Desk experience preferred, but not required
- Experience in customer service, cash handling, basic telephone, and computer skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Basic computer experience with knowledge of Opera PMS or other reservation or point of sale system a plus
- Basic office tasks including copy, fax, and printing
- Excellent communication skills including ability to read, write and speak English fluently, bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
- Positive attitude and ability to deal with difficult guests
- Position requires the ability to sit/stand for long periods of time and occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds
- Works well independently
- Reliable transportation required

- $1500 Hiring Bonus Schedule: $350 after one month of employment, $350 after six months, $800 after one year.

Schedule:
- Monday-Sunday varied shifts (6am-2pm) Other shifts as needed 2pm-10pm
- 8 hour shift
- 2-5 days/week

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
