Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Enter orders into the POS system (e.g., Aloha POS)
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests
- Provide exceptional guest service throughout the dining experience
- Clear and reset tables for the next guests
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
Experience:
- Previous experience as a host or server preferred
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and practices
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for order totals and bill splitting
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
