Position: Server, Host, Busser, Food Runner

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Responsibilities:

• Server:
• Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Anticipate guest needs and ensure satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and dining areas.
• Upsell menu items and promote special offerings.
• Host:
• Welcome guests upon arrival and manage the seating process.
• Maintain a waitlist and estimate wait times accurately.
• Communicate effectively with guests and provide information about the restaurant.
• Manage reservations and seating assignments efficiently.
• Coordinate with servers and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Keep the host stand and waiting areas clean and organized.
• Assist with answering phones and taking reservations.
• Busser:
• Clear and reset tables efficiently to ensure smooth turnover.
• Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to tables.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area.
• Refill water glasses and assist in fulfilling guest requests.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
• Support overall restaurant cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning surfaces.
• Assist in restocking service areas and organizing supplies.
• Food Runner:
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of food orders to the correct tables.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to prioritize orders and maintain consistency.
• Verify food quality and presentation before delivering to guests.
• Communicate effectively with servers and expedite orders as necessary.
• Assist in garnishing plates and ensuring proper plating techniques.
• Maintain awareness of special dietary needs and allergy requests.
• Support servers in providing exceptional service to guests.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Team player mentality and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
