We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests, managing the cash register, and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Must have weekend availability. ```Responsibilities```
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and provide menus
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions
- Bus or pre-bus tables
- Sell fudge, baked goods and merchandise in our gift shop.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/cashier station
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
```Skills```
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong guest relations skills to provide exceptional customer service
- Proficiency in operating a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred
- A friendly and positive attitude with a willingness to help others
