Host/Food Runner

Golden Road’s Anaheim Pub We is looking for enthusiastic hosts/ food runners to fill seasonal Roles. This position is expected to run from start of our very busy Angel’s baseball season, beginning at the end of March, through the projected end of the season in early October.

Host Job description:

As a member of the host staff, you are the face of our Pub! Often times you will be the first person the guest meets when they walk in and the last one they talk to on the way out. As the main person at the host stand you are responsible for greeting guests and finding how to best guide them through the Pub. You should be able to speak confidently about all our in-house and-to-go options as well as all retail items.

· Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming front-of-house experience

· Answer questions about the food and beverage menu, as needed

· Greet and assist every guest

· Stock/ organize retail

· Sell retail & packaged beer

· Take to-go orders over the phone and in person

· Answer all incoming calls

Food Runner Job description:

A Food Runner is responsible for supporting waitstaff in carrying beverages and meal items to designated tables. Their duties include communicating with Waiters to determine their needs, carrying food items from the expediting counter to the right table and helping with cleanup duties after the conclusion of service.

Food Runner skills and qualifications

· Must be able to multitask in order to ensure customers get their orders promptly

· Possess a high degree of organizational skills to easily locate tables and bar patrons to fulfill everyone’s orders

· Excellent communication skills to ensure they meet customers’ requests.

· Need to be able to remain on feet for several hours straight. Additionally, should be able to carry about 35 pounds easily.
