Host/Food Runner/Busser

Riverside Management and Financial Services, Inc. seeks a Busser /Food Runner for a 55+ community in Lincoln, CA. The role involves beverage and food service, as well as upholding strict standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Responsibilities include aiding waitstaff/servers in delivering food and drinks, clearing tables and the bar area, and maintaining daily sanitation of the dining room. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service abilities and be flexible to work different shifts. Ultimately, the Busses/Runner will play a vital role in delivering exceptional experiences for our members and their guests..

Directly reports to the Front of House Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery and napkins from tables/bar after diners are done eating
• Wiping up water spills, food stains and dirt from tables
• Straightening out the tablecloth or replacing stained ones (if in use)
• Sanitizing tables and chairs after each table turn
• Replacing cutlery and glassware in anticipation of new diners
• Refilling salt and pepper shakers and any other depleted condiments on the dining table
• Refilling drinking glasses with water
• Bringing out meal orders if waitstaff are busy
• If members ask for anything, make sure to communicate it to the server assigned to that table
• Assist in daily side work tasks
• Handle cleaning of the dining area at the close of day
• Willing to follow and uphold COVID-19 policies and procedures, including Association and city guidelines
• Any additional responsibilities as assigned by direct report

Requirements:

• Food Handler Certification
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Excellent communication skills
• High school diploma: relevant training is a plus
• Must be organized and self-motivated
• Must be able to stand, bend, stretch, and lift, and carry heavy materials

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
