Job Description
As a Hospice Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our hospice services within the community. You will work closely with the marketing team and hospice leadership to increase awareness, generate referrals, and build relationships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and potential clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to increase brand awareness and drive referrals for hospice services.
2. Identify and cultivate relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, social workers, and discharge planners, to promote our hospice programs.
3. Collaborate with the admissions team to facilitate smooth transitions for patients and families into hospice care.
4. Organize and participate in community events, health fairs, and educational seminars to educate the public about hospice services and end-of-life care options.
5. Create and distribute marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, presentations, and online content, to effectively communicate the benefits of hospice care.
6. Track and analyze marketing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing efforts.
7. Stay current on industry trends, regulations, ad best practices in hospice marketing and end-of-life care.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications Business Administration, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
2. Proven Experience in healthcare marketing, preferably in hospice, palliative care, or health care services.
3.Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Marketing software tools.
6 Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements in healthcare marketing.
7. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This Role requires flexibility in working hours, including occasional evening and weekends for event and networking opportunities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospice care and dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of patients and families facing end-of-life transitions.
