Village-In-Place Home Health/Hospice Agency is currently seeking to hire a Registered Nurse to fulfill weekends on-call. This position will begin on-call, Friday evenings and remain on-call through Monday morning and require at least one weekend a month.
The weekend RN on-call is responsible for answer patient/family/physician calls, triaging the nature of each call and responding to the call appropriately. Other duties include visiting scheduled Home Health/ hospice visits, conducting start of cares, discharges and deaths.
This position is paid an hourly rate to be on-call and will be paid a per visit rate when visits are conducted. Mileage is also reimbursed.
The successful candidate will possess a current PA Registered Nurse license in good standing and a valid PA Driver's license. The ideal applicant will have at least one year of previous nursing experience.
