Saliense is now hiring a Help Desk Technician to join our team in Arlington, VA. Candidates must possess an active Secret Clearance to be considered. This is an onsite position in Arlington, VA.
The Technician will, under direct supervision, provide support to end-users for PC, server of mainframe applications and hardware.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Interacts with network services, software systems engineering and/or applications development to restore services and/or identify and correct core problems
- Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties
- Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems
- Refers more complex problems to appropriate personnel
Required Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years prior experience and an Associates degree.
- Knowledge of remote access software, Office Automation Software Suites and a high level of expertise with Operating Systems and Networking
- Experience using Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Products.
- Familiarity with Flank Speed is a plus.
- Familiarity with Service now is a plus.
- Prior experience supporting Department of Navy, DoD or other federal government agencies is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally, among the customers base and Help Desk management.
- Must be compliant with DoD 8570 IAT Level I: Must have an active A+, Network+, Sec+, CCNA, CND, SSCP or equivalent.
- Must have an active Computing Environment (CE) certification.
- Active Secret Clearance or current interim
